Adventures
The everyday adventures of a completely average cat
Day 1- The day I met Natasha
Today was a grand adventure – I woke up and stretched in the sun when a sudden feeling took over me! I ate my food with gusto and rushed out the cat door heading off to the market (Ole Man Joseph always gives me the best fish and head pats) when the flickering of a marvelous black tail caught my eye. I chased after it, but it always was just out of reach ’til we reached a dead end. Heaving in breath, I called out to what I had come to realize was a fellow cat… a beautiful fellow cat. Her collar read, “Natasha,” and I knew it HAD to be love! After greeting each other, we headed back to town. I showed her Ole Man Joseph and she showed me Old Lady Edna who gave us the freshest milk. Before I knew it, the sun was coming down and I heard the faint call of my name so I began the trek back home. Today was a good day.
Day 2- The day i met Chuck
Today was a grand adventure - the sun rose and with it so did I. I was hungry so I wandered over to my human and tried to wake them up. I meowed and patted their face ’til they woke up and gave me some food. They sighed and began to repeat their strange morning routine. They left the house in their big metal thing, so I headed to the market. Like usual, I went to Ole Man Joseph who gave me the biggest tastiest looking fish. He patted my head and I got ready to eat it when – BAM! – a big fluffy ball of orange appeared and took my fish from me! I got ready and pounced and began to fight the other cat until another human came running over and lifted him up. “Chuck!” I heard, “You can't keep getting into fights.” The human reached down and pet me mumbling, “I’m sorry little buddy” and handed me back my fish. I ate it up and went to find Old Lady Edna to get some fresh milk. I saw Natasha there and we hung out for a while (apparently Old Lady Edna is her human). After that I went home. Today was fun!
Day 3- The day we got stuck on a boat
Today was a grand adventure - I woke up and went down to the market, stopping for my daily fish and milk along the way. I met up with Natasha and we headed to the docks to explore the ships. We found one called “The Siren” and leapt on board. After exploring for a bit, we felt the ship begin to move! We tried to find the boat’s owner, but ran into another cat named, “Scruffy.” He brought us to his owner who looked down at us and exclaimed “Oh, goodness! How did you guys get on board?” He knelt down to check our collars and said our names stating that “Grandpa Joseph” had told him about us. He quickly turned the boat around and brought us to Ole Man Joseph (by that time, it was night out) who called our humans to pick us up. He and Old Lady Edna seemed to get along very well! My human held me and carried me home mumbling the entire time about how silly I was. Today was an exciting day.
